Nurse I (LVN) Job

NURSE I (LVN) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Long Beach, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- LVN License for the state of California
- Health/Wellness Education Experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will answer incoming calls from health plan members utilizing the nurse advice line
- Document calls, symptoms and directs calls to the appropriate RN
- Identify benefits of members, eligibility for services
- Will be the initial point of contact for the Nurse Advice Line
- Participate in interdepartmental integration and collaboration to enhance the continuity of care for members

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Active LVN License in the state of California
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Bilingual English/Spanish (written and verbal) preferred
- Experience in a triage setting
- One to two (1-2) year's of clinical experience
- Experience in a managed care setting preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team setting
