We're looking for Nurses to work as Contract Disability Assessors paid 80-150 per completed report.

Take your nursing experience in a new direction by becoming a Disability Assessor for Capita PIP Assessments. We offer plenty of training and the opportunity to work with us flexibly as a contractor which offers significant earning potential (see payment structure below).

We're looking for qualified Nurses (Level 1), RGN, RMN, RNLD, but also Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, Dr's and Physiotherapists.

To qualify for this role you must have 2 years post registration experience, however for exceptional candidates less experience will be considered. You must be registered with the NMC/HCPC/GMC with a valid licence to practice in the UK and no sanctions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working for Capita to deliver the new personal Independence Payment (PIP) Service you will be assessing how a claimant's impairment or disability affects their daily living and mobility, predominantly in their own home, and then utilising that information to write up a very structured report on a laptop.

You will be required to utilise the skills you've built up in your nursing career including clinical knowledge to assist you in reading and understanding detailed claimant information. Good questioning, listening and observation skills are required to enable you to evidence facts in your report and of course demonstrate empathy and respect.

This is a community based role which requires you to be highly organised. You will need broadband, your own car and clean driving licence.

CONTRACTOR PAY RATES FOLLOWING APPROVAL

1-8 Assessments - 80 per report
9-14 Assessments - 100 per report
15-20 Assessments - 120 per report
21st Report Onwards - 150
Flat rate for each assessment report

NB : Travel mainly within a 20 mile radius. "Approved" is defined as achieving 4 consecutive Grade A and B reports following training.
The Incentive period will be reviewed in November 2014. Contract Terms and Conditions provided.
