My client is urgently looking for a number of Nokia UMTS RF Optimization Engineers. All engineers will be responsible for optimizing a live UMTS network for a leading operator. This will be at least a 6 month opportunity based in California, Chicago, Florida, and Texas. Ideal candidates must have a good understanding of network topologies, voice and data services. Key skills required are the ability to collect and analyze network performance statistics, make day-to-day technical improvement recommendations, analyze KPIs, optimize parameters, fine tuning feature activation and drive testing schedules and verification. Wide familiarity with industry tools such as Planet, Asset, Actix, Agilent, 3G, ACP, Atoll, CellOpt and TEMS preferred.
