NPI Sourcing Agent Job

NPI SOURCING AGENT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Erie, PA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS

- Two (2) plus years of experience in Supply Chain/Sourcing experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with Sourcing Commodity Teams to identify target Suppliers for all new purchased components
- Act as a liaison between the Sourcing organization and other functions, including Engineering and Product Management, to ensure proper Sourcing engagement early in the NPI process
- Execute the request for quote process for all NPI parts
- Support new Supplier on boarding activities
- Place Purchase Orders and obtain acknowledgements from Suppliers
- Initiate PPAP process for new parts, and drive through part approval
- Monitor Supplier promise dates, and take actions to ensure deliveries meet manufacturing need dates
- Ensure proper handoff of qualified parts to the Materials Fulfillment Team
- Support Engineering activities related to new product design, including procurement of Engineering test material
- Resolve receipt and payment issues

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- At least two (2) years of Supply Chain/Operations experience, including Sourcing/Supplier Quality/Material Fulfillment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily
- Quick learner, high energy, self-motivated, strong sense of urgency
