SERVICE TO BE PROVIDED

1. Validation of planned data architecture

- Review of current data model
- Advise best practices for data usage patterns
- Document data architecture implementation patterns & best practices

2. Review current data loading strategy & implementation

- Provide best practices for loading patterns
- Error and performance monitoring.
- Performance management.
- System and database tuning.
- Periodical health checkups

3. Review and steer scalability requirements

- Review & validate current sharding setup
- Document scalabilty and sharding patterns to be applied

4. Other activities.

- Provide appropriate guidance in client access implementation patterns
- NoSQL/MongoDB competence centre set up support.

HOW THE SERVICE IS EXPECTED TO BE DELIVERED

The service is to be delivered as a set of reviews combined with documentation and implementation artefacts. A portfolio of enterprise architecture patterns with corresponding implementation guidance is expected to be delivered and updated periodically. Expected deliverables are documents (reviews, findings, reference architectures, links to best practices) as pragmatic code and configuration examples that suit the use cases.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Database and NOSQL data store usage & administration experience in heterogeneous systems.
- Long work experience with large NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB
- Excellent communication skills both orally as in writing. The official languages are English, French and German, English being the work language in this assignment.
- Proven aptitudes to cooperate with other engineering areas covering diverse technical specialties.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
