NORTHERN EUROPE SALES MANAGER

Our client has a requirement for a permanent NORTHERN EUROPE SALES MANAGER to work in the location of ESSEX. You will be required to hold an SC clearance for this role.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Responsible for the development of electronic components sales in Northern Europe and other emerging markets.
- Our client delivers technology solutions targeted at specialist global application segments which are delivered through our global network of offices.
- With operational facilities in Europe, the US and Asia, we provide solutions to our customers in more than 50 countries. We are listed on the London Stock Exchange and the FTSE4 Good index and we employ around 1650 people across the globe, one third of which are engineers and scientists. - Our clients division offers high reliability semiconductors and services for aerospacehi-rel microprocessors, high speed data converters, high reliability ICs with lifetime continuity of supply, assembly & test services and Memory Products.
- We have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to contribute to our growth in Northern Europe within the global sales team. Working closely with Business Unit teams and with partners and stakeholders externally, you will establish new business and development opportunities for our professional components and solutions and have full responsibility for establishing and consolidating the annual orders and sales plan for the division within Northern Europe for your allocated customers, geography and markets.
- You will manage and develop our customers and sales channels to grow sales in line with our strategy by maintaining existing business and identifying both short and longer term opportunities. The prime focus for your role is to identify new business opportunities and to take all necessary measures to qualify, close orders which convert into revenue, as well as build a strong business pipeline.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Identify leads and qualify business opportunities demonstrating the unique benefits of our value added solutions.
- Deal with enquiries, Request For Quotation (RFQ) and bid management: (coordination of the internal teams supporting the value proposition).
- Convert leads into business sales orders and order intake: Ability to pitch the division and the group value propositions and influence potential customers (and third party involved) at the most senior level displaying a holistic view of our business with the view to achieve the sales plan in line with the business strategy.
- Customer Relation Management: Manage the opportunities in the CRM to provide the division with an accurate view of the business opportunities and actions to progress them.
- B2B Key Account Management: ensuring optimum level of communication between customers, partners and the company key contacts at all times

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

- To succeed in this role you will have a proven track record and experience in semiconductor preferably in components sales combined with background in electronic engineering. A record of successfully expanding sales will be a plus. A European language would be an advantage.
- Your strategic skills, business acumen customer focus and strong experience in multicultural teams combined with the ability to understand and positively handle cultural differences will allow you to thrive in the role. - 37 hour week - 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am-4:30pm on Friday.
