NORTH AMERICAN LOGISTICS COORDINATOR - 6 MONTH CONTRACT
We are currently seeking to fill the position of a North American Logistics Coordinator in our very fast paced and continuously growing organization. The role is challenging and provides unlimited earnings potential based on sales and operational performance. This is a 6 month contract with opportunity to become permanent, based on business needs.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the successful candidate is responsible for day-to-day operations within the office including sales calls, developing and maintaining existing and future business relationships while under the guidance of the Vice President and the COO. This is a hands-on position and requires strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task a heavy workload and achieve all deadlines.
JOB DUTIES:

PROVIDE RATE QUOTATIONS TO CUSTOMERS
-
NEGOTIATE RATES WITH CARRIERS
-
BUILD, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN CUSTOMER AND CARRIER RELATIONSHIPS
-
ASSIST WITH PROJECT MANAGEMENT INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE AND TRANSPORT PLANS
-
ASSIST WITH BILLING AND COLLECTION WITH CUSTOMERS WHEN NEEDED
-
FOLLOW-UP ON LOADING, DELIVERIES AND ENSURING CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
-
LIAISING WITH EXISTING CLIENT BASE ON CURRENT REQUESTS AND ABILITY TO SEE FUTURE NEEDS
-
OUTBOUND SALES CALLS

ALL OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED
