Nodejs Developer - Banking

My client is a reputable multinational bank based in Amsterdam, who are looking for a NodeJS Developer to join a brand new development team on a long-term freelance basis, building out a new application.

Requirements:

You are an experienced professional in NodeJS and Python development and you have up to date knowledge of the NodeJS ecosystem. And you are able to bring knowledge and experience with Raspberry Pi/Arduino.

- Experience with Javascript, TypeScript, NPM, GIT
- Knowledge of working with Raspberry Pi/Arduino is a must.
- Experience with Front End build tools like Webpack, Gulp, Grunt
- Experience with continuous delivery and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, ELK stack
- Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab
- Good with TDD, BDD and testing tools such as Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium etc...
- Good knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Good knowledge of Web Components specifications and Polymer library or similar.
- Familiar with MySQL database
- Aware of Accessibility, Security, Performance
- Familiar with at least one other programming language such Python, Ruby, Go, PHP
- Experience with the Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills
- Excellent social, teamwork and communication skills
