Node.js Developer required - 6MTH Contract - Surrey. £400p/d

Global IT Services Company based in Surrey, requires exceptional node JavaScript Developers to join their development practice where they will build new Enterprise Systems for their blue chip corporate clients. You will be innovative and able to articulate solutions to customers and staff. The teams are usually 3-8 people and run using AGILE methodology.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product owner to define software requirements for programming effort
Design and implement Back End application interfaces for data and services
Support production software operations, test and debug programs
Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project team
Provide technical leadership and motivation to junior developers

Mandatory skills:
Backend JavaScript
node.js

Qualifications:
Expert in node.js, Back End JavaScript development
Strong experience with Node.JS, REST, JSON and express
Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and MVC patterns
Programming skills on other languages ie Java, Ruby etc
Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, preferably MongoDB
Experience with systems across multiple platforms Windows, Linux and UNIX.
Experience with open source software
Excellent understanding of web security practices
Good understanding of agile development, including pair programming and continuous delivery
