NOC Infrastructure Support Technician Job

NOC INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Phoenix AZ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Significant progressive experience operating and monitoring distributed & Mainframe systems.
- Open to working 9pm - 7am shift

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Appropriately documents and communicates incidents, problem diagnosis results, and recommended corrective actions. Provides appropriate turnover between shifts and effectively communicates changes and special processing instructions to other team members.
- Assists in maintaining and developing operational procedures and documentation that support a rapidly changing environment.
- Continually develops knowledge and skills in emerging technologies and shares knowledge with team members.
- Effectively uses and administers appropriate operational tools.
- Maintains Software Quality Assurance (SQA) in accordance with nuclear regulatory guidelines.
- Operates and monitors multi-platform computer network equipment in support of production processing and customer computer information needs according to Service Level Agreements.
- Utilizing established guidelines, troubleshoots distributed and Mainframe systems issues, diagnoses problems, makes appropriate recommendations, and takes appropriate corrective action while minimizing computer system outages and customer impact.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- AA Degree in Computer Science, Business or related degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
