OUR CLIENT IS A LEADING TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY SEEKING TO RECRUIT A NOC ENGINEER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM IN DUBLIN ON A INITIAL SIX MONTH CONTRACT.
JOB/OPPORTUNITY:
Perform Installation and configuration of Cisco Routers/Switches
Perform Installation and configuration of VPN solutions and Firewalls (mixed vendors)
Provide daily analysis of network logs for abnormalities
Assist; provide tier 2, 3 support to Help Desk/desktop technicians with basic technical queries and support.
Provide technical support to the Service Management Centre Engineers.
Fault investigation and correction on Cisco Hardware.
Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.
Perform agreed changes on "live" IP Network.
Provide Rotated on-call support
Assist with the integration of new elements and services into the network
Interface with the Engineering groups in the design and implementation of new IP Networks architecture
