Night Shift Trade Support

Looking to fill a role in trade support for a major financial firm inChicago. This firm is seeking a highly motivated IT individual that will bring their trade and technical experience to this international firm. This position is specifically a night trade position.

Day to Day responsibilities include:

- Providing the best problem and incident management to trade floor
- Monitor trading application status
- Application development support for proprietary APIs
- Problem management- call logging, routing, escalation
- Handling order status inquires
- Develop and maintain internal testing tools
- Be the front-line representation of the company to customers- building strong interpersonal relationships
- Aid in application upgrade roll-outs
- This role is for the OVERNIGHT SHIFT- Perform daily procedures to assist with the preparation for theUSmarket opening and daily procedures following European market close

Skill needed:

- Extensive PERL scripting experience
- SQL (creating queries, working with DBAs, stored procedures)
