Overview

* Ensure that the Trust's income for the Trust is maximised through proactive and effective Service Level Agreement management (proposal, negotiation, agreement, documentation, monitoring, invoicing and feedback).
* Ensure that communication and liaison of SLAs with other parties including commissioners, service managers and the finance directorate is conducted to the highest standard.
* Ensure that SLA management is fully integrated into planning and commissioning cycles.
* Advise finance and service Associate Directors on income generation and SLAs.
* Jointly co-ordinate the Payment by Results process with finance colleagues

Brief Responsibilities

* Responsible for the management of the Service Level Agreement process between Trust and its NHS Commissioners.
* Responsible for the negotiation of contacts, ensuring that these are in accordance with policy and that contract terms on risk share and other issues protect the Trust's interests.
* Responsible as the lead for the Community Services Directorate in the process of communication with Commissioners over Service Agreement performance and developments.
* Responsible for the review of the SLA contracts, the negotiation of amendments and checks and recommends all contracts
* Responsible for monitoring the performance on contracts and the process of income recovery for performance with individual Commissioners
* Ensure that there is a monthly summary of SLA financial performance and that the over performance is invoiced at appropriate times
* Establish, maintain and develop key working relations with internal and external stake holders

Requirements:
- Must have relevant Senior Contracts Manager/Commissioning (Community) experience within NHS
- Must be available to start immediately/1 week
- Must fit the above job specification with proven experience and references
- Be able to commit and live in commuting distance to South London
