NHS CATALOGUE/PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASING, TENDERING, LARGE CAPITAL PURCHASING, CONTRACT MANAGEMENT, CONTRACT NEGOTIATION, UNDERSTANDING PURCHASING DATA/PATTERNS, NHS PROCUREMENT

An NHS Catalogue/Procurement Specialist with experience in Procurement and Purchasing, Large Capital Purchasing, Contract Management, Contract Negotiation, NHS Procurement and understands Purchasing Data/Patterns is required to work on a 4 month contract WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION for a high profile Government organisation based in London

OVERVIEW OF THE NHS CATALOGUE/PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST CONTRACT ROLE

This role will involve supporting a Procurement Project which is focussing on product rationalisation, demand management and maximising delivery of value for money

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE NHS CATALOGUE/PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
-You will have demonstrable procurement and purchasing experience, including in depth experience of tendering
-You will have knowledge and experience with large capital purchasing
-You will have extensive experience in contract management/contract negotiation
-You will be able to analyse and understand purchasing data/patterns
-You will have a NHS background or experience in procurement/sourcing

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
-Experience in preparing business cases

The role is based in London this is commutable from Reading, Milton Keynes, Luton and Kent
