Job description

- Provide expertise in NGI data accuracy and own the resolution of reported data inconsistencies
- Develop data quality control reports in NGI
- Test the reports and gain the operatorr's acceptance of these reports
- Identifies gaps in the knowledge of the vendor's current encoding team and develop the relevant training programs
- Provide ad-hoc support to the encoding teams in Brussels and in the manages services centers
- Develop internal competences on key technologies such qs DWDM, Broba Ethernet, Dark Fibers, Patching, IP, MPLS, etc.
- Develop and run the acceptance of new models on to the NGI test platform
- Database encoding, change, and release management
- Handle NGI changes to reflect changes on to the live network
- Troubleshooting and managing of wrongly encoded data; highlighting potential issues, managing the reporting of these issues, and arranging for a suitable solutions
- Perform impact analysis related to the introduction of new features, new nodes or parts (eg new board type), architecture changes, network migrations
- Define and perform test plans (regression tests, test of new features, acceptance of new nodes or parts)
- Maintain the NGI testing environment
- Contribute to customer-based projects
- Transfer of knowledge, documentation management
- Ensure the documentation for managed networks is always up to date and with the right level of quality
- Transfer knowledge by training, coaching, guiding, explaining, documenting and handing over relevant information
- Readiness to participate on initial training abroad for the period of three months
- Readiness for occasional travelling abroad for the training, depending on the implementation of new processes and/or change of the old ones

Required competence:

- Bachelor degree, desirable in engineering or equivalent and/or relevant experience in related discipline;
- 5 years of experience as Netcracker's NGI expert encoder
- Expert knowledge in developing reports and tools in Netcracker's NGI
- Basic knowledge in GSM, UMTS and transmission networks;
- Fluent in English, written and spoken;
- Knowledge of IT tools and software (MS Office, MS Access);
- Knowledge of French would be an important asset;
