Next Generation Portfolio Management Software Engineer

An international wealth management firm is currently searching for a Software Engineer (Java) to join their global team in Boston. This position is looking for a self-motivated professional with a proven track record, superior academic background and the desire to learn more about the financial industry. The Software Engineer (Java) will help build the next generation of portfolio management software in a cutting edge collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 4 years of experience in software developing in Java of C with object-oriented programming
* Haskell, Scala, or other functional programming experience is a big plus
* Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Ruby, Python, shell scripts)
* Strong academic background and problem solving skills
* Interest and experience in the financial domain

As the Software Engineer (Java) you will be responsible for full life-cycle development ranging from requirements analysis to deployment.
