NETWORK DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Overland Park, KS.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Ensure contingency plans for each database system (backup, recovery and failover) are documented and tested
- Design and document disaster recovery plan with consideration for key dependencies
- Propose and develop strategic database improvements in technical areas of database implementation, support and enhancements
- Act in a consulting capacity supporting application development teams during application design and implementation phases

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must possess a strong understanding of Oracle Vault.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience on RAC and Dataguard.
- Must be available for on-call rotation.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Five to eight (5-8) years related work experience
