New Contract - Solution Architect (Java) - Copenhagen

SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT- JAVA

THIS IS AN URGENT ROLE FOR AN ARCHITECT TO START NEXT WEEK (W/C 22ND JUNEJ 2015)

The Role
You will produce the technical solution design of software in the Change Delivery area to ensure that all systems are designed to be efficient, maintainable, modular, and consistent. You will work with the Enterprise/Technical Architects, Service Delivery teams, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and Testers throughout the phases of a project. You will understand the Architecture Definitions and High Level Business requirements to produce an end to end High Level Solution Design that will be used by the software development teams to assist in production of a detailed technical design and implementation plan.

As the Solution Architect you will act as a point of contact for the Java development teams on any detail design clarification re-work. You will also have responsibility for contributing to the production and maintenance of the overall system design documentation.

Skills and Experience Required
Extensive hands-on experience in defining, architecting, designing and developing software solutions, specifically across Java.
Experience in a varied technical role and in depth knowledge of application architecture.
In depth knowledge of Oracle, Java and Microsoft technologies
Experience in co-ordinating and implementing packages of work
Knowledge of industry standard design patterns and multi-tier architecture utilising Service Orientated Architecture practices.
Good knowledge of build and deployment techniques
Extensive knowledge of Datamodelling both relational and hierarchical.
Excellent problem solving using both internal and external resources.
Can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff at all levels

TOGAF Cetified is an advantage for this role
