Networking/Firewall Engineer is urgently required to join the project team for our market leading financial services clients.
KEY SKILLS:
- Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN/DC environments (CCDP level or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of (routing) protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, BGF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc.) and Proxy applications
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco environments, knowledge and experience with Checkpoint Firewall and F5 load balancing environments
- Extensive knowledge and experience with network management tools such as CiscoWorks, ACS, Concord, EMC Smarts, etc.
- Knowledge of security solutions within network infrastructures
- Scripting knowledge/experience (Perl, Python) is an advantage
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes
