NETWORKING ENGINEER - BRUSSELS - CCNP
This company, a global consultancy require a Networking Engineer for a financial end client, The role will be based in Brussels and will initially be for three months but is likely to extend.
DUTIES:
- YOU IMPLEMENT COMPONENTS IN THE PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT (CHANGE & CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT) WITH MIN impact
- You support the networking and security infrastructure (2nd line incident & problem management)
- You are responsible for closing audit findings within set deadlines
- You make sure the delivered designs are implemented as specified, without impacting production stability
- You make sure documentation, instructions, procedures & knowledge base are kept up to date.
- You participate in projects within the technology domain
- You keep yourself informed of all supported technology domains
- YOU SPECIALISE IN A FEW TECHNOLOGY DOMAINS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A master/engineering degree or equivalent by experience/certification in IT networking (CCNP level or equivalent)
- Knowledgeable about switching and routing on a Cisco Catalyst 6500 and 3750 based network
- Not afraid of Juniper Netscreen and Cisco ASA Firewalls, f5 LTM/ASM and BlueCoat proxies
- Comfortable with complex challenges of enterprise-class networking
- WILLING TO CONTINUOUSLY LEARN EXPAND YOUR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
