We are hiring for NETWORKING ENGINEER for our customer in GENEVA, SWITZERLAND
Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR NETWORK ENGINEER:
- Network Shared Services and On-Site First-Level support with escalation to other technical staff when needed.
- Contact and interactions with Customers' Network and Security personnel
- Participate in the Customer meetings and presentations
- Contact and interactions with external vendors and service providers
- Network equipment installation, physical connection verification
- Monitor, review and plan upgrade network equipment OS versions
- Participate in the ICC Network team meetings and presentations
- Prepare and update technical documentation
- Network Configuration Templates Maintenance
- End-User training and assistance
- Provide assistance to other ICC staff on network and IP telephony related tasks
- Additional changes and configuration based on Customer requests and signed proposals
- Standby support (outside work hours) when required
FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge and skills to configure Cisco Nexus 5000.
- Desirable experience with Nexus 7000.
- Expert knowledge and skills to configure Cisco Catalyst 6500 and Catalyst 3750 PoE Switches
- Expert knowledge and experience with Cisco ASA Firewall/VPN settings
- Experience with Cisco WLC Wireless controllers or equivalent Wi-Fi equipment
- Experience with VPN, DMVPN and secure IPSEC or GRE Tunnels
- Basic skills to administer Cisco Call Managers versions 8.x, 9.x or 10.x
- Desirable experience with Checkpoint or other Firewalls
- Desirable Cisco Certifications - CCNA, CCDP, CCVP, CCNP or CCIE
- Sound knowledge of TCP/IP Networking and protocols
EXPERIENCE:
1. Hands-on experience managing and configuring Cisco networking and security devices
2. Three years or more of experience working in a 7/24 Data Centre environment.
3. Desirable experience with Cisco IP telephony
