NETWORK/VOICE ENGINEER

(SENIOR AND MID LEVEL POSITIONS)

BRISBANE CBD AND FORTITUDE - IMMEDIATE START OPPORTUNITY, 6 MONTHS INITIALLY + EXTENSIONS

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong Cisco Voice experience (IPTel/Unified Comms?) an extreme advantage to provide design and implementation support to our existing network engineers. You will continue ongoing project based work across several high profile Clients.

The shared services Network team supporting LAN/WAN and voice services

Provide strategic direction for Client solutions

Assist with the review of the technical solutions (in a project capacity).

Provide systems/network design and implementation support to ensure smooth and effective migration to new technology/versions

Manage, support and maintain the network environment meeting the organizations standards of security, quality, reliability and efficiency

What are we looking for?

Ideally you will be experienced with the following;

We require a highly skilled Certified Cisco Network Engineer with skills covering LANS/WANS, Voice, Network Security/Firewalls, Routing protocols, QoS, Load Balancing, Network monitoring tools, incident reporting and SLA time frame response. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Cisco certification (CCNP/CCDP/CCVP at a minimum - CCIE would be preferred)

3-4 + years Network Engineer experience with Voice

Excellent design, implementation and troubleshooting experience

Excellent written and verbal skills are mandatory

Systems Integrator/Managed Services/Utilities type background highly regarded.
