Network/Vmware Engineer

NETWORK/VMWARE ENGINEER

ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced Network/VMware Engineer to work with our financial services client in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The successful candidate will be working on the setup of an overall continuous integration environment to support an ongoing project and program delivery. The integration environment consists of different components and applications. The engineer will be part of a team setting up the integration environment

TASKS INCLUDE:

- Collecting requirements for the components
- Translating requirements to deliverables
- Creating the desired (technical) design documentation
- Implementing and testing the component
- Performing handover and support for operations

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- General infrastructure/hardware knowledge, 
- In depth practical knowledge of Cisco systems (65XX,32XX, Nexus 5000, Nexus 7000)
- Cisco/Checkpoints Firewalls
- F5 load balancers
- VMware
- Storage solutions (general - Dell preferred) 

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Experience with Linux and Oracle
- Dutch speaking is preferred. 

LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

DURATION: 2 Months initially, with a high chance of extension.

RATE: euro;49 per hour Dependent on experience.
