Network Transition & Transformation Manager

Our client is currently looking for an experienced NETWORK TRANSITION & TRANSFORMATION MANAGER to deliver a key program stream within a major Infrastructure Program.

You will be accountable for the successful delivery of the Data Networks stream which includes all aspects of data network and network security.

The role will manage and oversee the technical and the project delivery streams. In addition, the role will be directly responsible for authoring some of technical and project delivery work packages.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

- Extensive demonstrated IT architectural and design knowledge and experience in multiple large scale (25,000+ end users) data network & security delivery programs.
- Extensive experience leading large IT infrastructure programs in complex business and technology environments, with a proven ability to plan and coordinate activities with technical and non-technical staff, using high levels of initiative to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proven understanding of industry standard IT architecture and technology frameworks and ability to apply to program artefacts, such as concept papers, solution designs, implementation plans, etc.
- Proven understanding of industry standard project management, business analysis and testing methodologies and with the ability to develop project plans, schedules, requirements documentation, test plans and associated documentation, and to measure and monitor project and resource performance against agreed plans.
- Excellent knowledge of the impact to the Business, IT operating and service delivery models, processes and people in relation to the introduction of change associated with significant transformational initiatives.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes including technical change management principles and approaches and experience in contributing to change advisory board activities.
- High level of interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Very strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact with senior department officers, vendor management and fellow team members.
