Network Test Engineer Job

NETWORK TEST ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cupertino, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Network configuration
- UNIX
- Wireless LAN

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Test hardware solution from a customer first approach
- Drive the test development and execution for current release including but not limited to test case development, traiges, test passes, and milestone exit reviews
- Participating in the planning, development and testing of key application features

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or related field with 5+ years of networking and Embedded products QA
- Working knowledge in UNIX commands
- Exposure to TCP/IP Networking or Wireless LAN product testing is a MUST
- Working knowledge of wireless and networking protocols such as 802.11, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6.
- Hands-on experience in designing and building all aspects of complex network topologies (clients, Servers, network, and Router configuration)
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Fluency and expertise in one more Scripting languages like Perl, Python or JavaScript
- iOS, OS X, or Android application testing experience
- Camera/Video testing
