NETWORK TELEPHONY ENGINEER
My client is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team for the operation, expansion and update of the telephony and data network. You will also be responsible for monitoring and updating the central monitoring system.
THE ROLE
- Management and operation of the customer data network and Wi-Fi IP Telephony infrastructure, in particular the performance of updates
- Resolving incidents and reported problems
- Deal with extensions and changes to the IP Telephony and Wireless Infrastructure
- Installing, configuring and operating the network nodes and points in the customer network and expanding or updating existing nodes.
KEY SKILLS
- Cisco IOS
- Knowledge of DHCP and RADIUS, and Wi-Fi technology ( 802.11b/g/n )
- Good profiency in the use of Linux Scripting
- Experience SIP, IP telephony, and preferably Session Border Controllers .
