Network Technicians (LAN & WAN)

Multiple Network Technicians are needed to join our client, an international organisation providing global ICT Services and Support. These positions are located in Valencia, Spain and focus on providing ongoing Network administration and support. These are English speaking positions.

Network Technician duties:

. Maintenance and administration of the LAN, WAN and VOIP operations including managing and maintaining standard configurations, Switches, Routers, monitoring and management tools, voice gateways and other tools.
. Work as part of the deployment team providing final testing and deployment of LAN, WAN and VoIP solution.
. Provide technical documentation on the above.
. Responsibility for associated problem resolution to LAN, WAN and VoIP environments.
. Mandatory shift work and standby support as part of 24/7 service coverage.
. Perform other duties, as required.

Network Skills Required:

. You must be able to work as part of a 24/7 shift rota system.
. Three years of experience operating and maintaining LAN, WAN and VoIP
. Good knowledge of Cisco Switches, Routers, routing protocols.
. Experience with Nexus technology is a bonus
. Good knowledge of network management tools and practice
. Good knowledge of content networking equipment including server load balancing, content switching, caching and acceleration
. Network security background including Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention devices
. Good knowledge of voice and video over IP including voice transport and termination
. Basic ITIL knowledge
. Exposure in Information Security Management System (ISMS: ISO 27001) or other industry standard related best practices
. Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required
. Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
