Network System Developer (m/w) Köln

Currently we are searching for one candidates who are able to cover the following position:

Your tasks:

Develop custom and complex, specific software solutions as extension of existing Network Performance Mgt. software stacks and in consideration of enterprise scale of customer’s global network.
-

Customize network management systems to automate monitoring processes and procedures
-

Cross-functional cooperation with Network Engineering, Network Planning, Extranet Operations and other IT teams to adopt and integrate changes and new technologies into the Network Performance Mgt. monitoring tools.
-

Create documentation for internal use within the global team as well as training material for IT users.
-

Troubleshooting, patching, upgrading of Network Performance Mgt. systems
-

Support for the customer’s Network Operations group or application owners including performance analysis and additional data processing
-

Understand customer’s security font-size:10pt;color:#000000;"> 

Your profile:

Experience in working with Network Performance Mgt. tools, components and protocols including CA NetQoS, Cisco IPSLA, Cacti, RRDtool, MySQL/MariaDB, SNMP, Netflow and custom scripting

Good development skills in PHP. Familiar with JS, jQuery, HTML and SQL

Broad technical and working knowledge with network devices, primarily Cisco routers and switches in LAN, WAN and data center environments
-

Base knowledge of server administration to maintain and install the tooling environment. Experience in I/O intensive applications managing big data.

Good communication skills, fluent in English and German, written and verbal.
-

Work efficiently in a global team. Process driven, able to produce continuously high quality Selfstarter with high degree of motivation and ability to learn quickly
-

Strong mathematical and analytics skills as applied to complex network performance designs, analysis, extensions and troubleshooting

• An awareness and good understanding of project management fundamentals, experience to manage multiple simultaneous projects

Bachelor in a related technical field, preferable in Information Technologies, or other equivalent qualification
