Network System Administrator Job

NETWORK SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PITTSBURGH, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Cisco: LAN, WAN, VOIP
- Network Support
- Cabling, Rack/Stack

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN) and interface to wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.
- May assist in network modelling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
- May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. May administer network security measures

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum five (5)+ years of experience high-availability enterprise-wide network environments
- Experience with LAN & WAN cabling.
- Ability to configure Cisco Switches (including stacking technology) and Routers.
- Understanding of VOIP systems.
- Troubleshoot network related issues (as related to LAN, WAN & VOIP).
- Ability to interact with customers when needed.
- In lieu of degree, must have a minimum of ten (10)+ years of related experience
- BS/BA in related field

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Cisco Certifications or related
