Network Surveillance Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NETWORK SURVEILLANCE TECHNICIAN to join our client in Overland Park, KS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide first level surveillance on network activities.
- Monitoring cell towers for RF signals.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting alarms.
- Initiating the ticketing process for network outages.
- Working cross departmentally to ensure that outages are properly reported and resolved.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- One to two (1-2) years of Technical Support Experience (ie helpdesk, troubleshooting, NOC) or COMPLETED Technical Education.
- Ability to rapidly adjust to change.
- Willingness to learn.
- PC Savvy - must be able to quickly navigate in a Windows environment.
- Comfortable working in an open environment; also must be prepared to think on their toes.
- Candidate will receive TWO WEEKS OJT and must be the type of person who is comfortable figuring out things for themselves.
- Must be able to work in a deadline, emergency-driven environment where constant change is a must.
- Excellent Communications skills.
- Must be able to learn quickly and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
