Summary: Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system/segment of a network system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support 8:00am ET to 4:30pm ET Weekdays on-site in Louisville, KY
- Be available to respond to incidents 4:30 PM ET 11 PM ET on an occasional basis
- Manage, Assign and close Network Service Requests and other network workflows such as IP address request, Port Configuration Request, etc.
- Deploy/install/label physical cabling infrastructure
- Circuit provisioning/disconnecting
- Hardware configuration/deployment/installation/movement
- Internal Project tasks such as device upgrades and replacements
- Network RTS
- Build/deploy network hardware
- Cisco Router/switch/Firewall/load balancer/access point/Proxy/IP phone support
- F5 load-balancer support
- Site relocations/moves (rooftop consolidation)
- Network utilization reporting
- Minimal travel may be required (with pre-approval)

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years of networking experience
- Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements
- Network troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
- Knowledge of Cisco network devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, access-points)
- Knowledge of F5 network hardware
- Knowledge of Network infrastructure cabling
- Knowledge of IP Addressing and IP Routing
- Bachelor's degree in data processing or related field required
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
