Network Support Lead

The successful candidate will have experience in designing network solution and internal stakeholder management. You must also hold the Qualification CCNP.

The following two qualifications, CCIE and CISSP would be an advantage. You will work to redesign the client's existing network. Security implementation. Working with 4 network and 2 telecom engineers, and reporting to Network Team Lead. Engaging and liaising with the Security Admin Team. The emphasis will be on design and not architecture.

You must have the ability to design and document network management solutions
- Networking technologies (LAN/WAN)
- Networking performance tools
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet, SNMP, RPC, SIP, MPLS etc).
- Routing and switching

Desirable:
- Multi-vendor security and Firewall configuration, monitoring and patching
- Understanding of CISCO MDS infrastructure and FCIP Communications
- OSPF skills
- Nexus 5000 and 7000 - Catalyst 6500 - MDS

Other main Duties and Responsibilities include: Manage ICT assets efficiently; Manage the workflow and resources of the team to meet OLA/SLA's targets in line with guidance from the Service Delivery Manager; Ensure staff comply with policies and procedures; Ensure cost effective use of Information Systems resources, to include computer hardware, software, training facilities and staff time; Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner; Assist in the management of support service contracts with external providers where applicable.
