Network Support Engineer - Telecoms/Cisco/Juniper/NOC/CCNP/Data/Operations
My international telecoms client is looking for a Network Operation Center/NOC Back Office Support Engineer with good experience with troubleshooting customer network issues including Router, Switches, to monitor and maintain the operation status of fixed data network to be based in Zurich in an English working environment.
The ideal candidate would be fluent in English with good experience in a support environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide Monitoring and Maintenance to the network to sure the operational status of the network;
2. To provide troubleshooting to customer trouble tickets, and testing and diagnostics support to the fixed data network;
3. To provide stand-by services, 24/7 on call, for the technical assistance and support of the operation of the network.
Requirements:
1. Good understanding of the fixed data network architecture
2. CCNA/CCNP/CCIE
3. English working environment. Fluent in English. German is a PLUS
4. Familiar with the vendor equipment of Cisco, Juniper, Huawei
5. Preferably 5+ years of experience in fixed data network Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
6. Experience in O&M department or Managed services from top tier operators is a PLUS
