Network (Support) Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

For the IT department of a global operating company we are looking for a network (support) engineer (or a Network Support Employee) for the WAN and LAN connectivity.

The activities are:

Troubleshooting, network-monitoring & -maintenance & performance-tuning

Assess the network infrastructure

Technical & support improvements
-

Professionalizing daily network-support

JOB DEMANDS:

-

The ideal candidate has the following profile:

-

Proven experience with LAN & WAN infrastructure and network & telecom (LAN, Wireless LAN, Firewalls, IPSec)
-

Proven knowledge of/experience with Cisco Routers and Switches
-

CCNA certification (must)
-

CCNP certification (pré)
-

Experience with ITIL incident, problem and change management and ITIL process optimization
-

Experience with IT-security
-

ITIL foundation
-

Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
