e-Synergy Solutions are currently hiring for a network support consultant, for a 6 month full time role based in Brussels, Belgium.

Network Support Consultant

Experience and Requirements

Ensuring the network connections, maintenance and support in the first and second line for the various network components in all buildings of the company.

The set up includes:

2000 Switches
200 Routers with line (VPN, PVC )
30 Routers

- Working on installing and connecting the various network devices and technical equipment

Switches, Routers, access points ...)
- Performing patching in network racks
- Check the correct operation and analysis based on existing procedures and am reporting in the case of disturbances.
- Keeping procedures and documentation up to date.
- First and second line support
- Troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge elekriciteit
- Working knowledge of computer networks and devices (CCNA is a plus)
- Working knowledge of the specific current applications
- Working knowledge of test procedures and test equipment (fluke.)
- Good knowledge of the STIB network.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP
- Client facing
- Understanding of Laser, connectors, Fluke OptiView, DOS commands
- Computer networks with 5 years' experience or bachelor's degree in computer science/telecom with 2 years' experience.
