Network Support

One of our prestigious clients is looking for the following individual for a 7 month preoject based in Amsterdam.

All potential candidates must be fluent in Dutch and English.

'The project aims to bring all the differences between reality and what Firewall implementation that approved map and then bringing it into line with each other. You are able to translate between the RCEC's (way Firewall rule bases are documented) vs. the way it is implemented.'

This is a temporary post of 7 months with possibility of extension. To start on 01-5-2015 until 31-12-2015.

What they are looking for;

'You're an enterprising Firewall specialist, customer-oriented, committed and convincing, and you are known for your inquisitive nature. Besides that you are quality conscious, do you possess very good communication with presentation skills. Obviously you're not afraid to take the initiative, you are result oriented, accurate and you can work both independently and in a team. You look critically at your own performance, your own strengths and weaknesses and are active there to make the most of. Experience working in or with financial institutions, large IT environments.'

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

- Minimum HBO/university education
- 3 to 5 years experience
- Fluency in Dutch and English

Profound knowledge:

- LAN/WAN/DC environments (CCDP level or equivalent)
- (Routing) protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, BGF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc.) and Proxy applications
- Cisco Environments
- Checkpoint Firewall and F5 load balancing
- Management tools such as CiscoWorks, ACS, Concord, EMC Smarts, etc.
- ITIL processes

Work Environment

Infrastructure & Platform Service (I & PS) is part of the clients organization. I & PS ensures the development and delivery of IT Infrastructure services and the implementation of various IT operational activities. I & PS manages the platforms needed for the client's banking activities and is responsible for the development and delivery of change programs and projects in this field.
