Network Storage Software Validation Engineer

Our client is the leading computer manufacturing enterprise looking for a Validation Engineer to work on their storage products.

DESIRED SKILL SET

- Working experience in FCoE/FC/iSCSI equipment/devices such as forwarders, Switches, storage arrays, and host bus adapter (HBA)/converged network adapter (CNA)
- Working experience in Ethernet Switches and network interface adapter (NIC), including advance features, such as VLAN, teaming, etc.
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and/or virtualization (Hyper-V, ESX, etc.) platforms
- Working experience in storage and network testing tools, such as IOmeter, IOzone, dt, netperf, ntttcp, iperf, etc.
- Experience in performance measurement and analysis (network and/or storage)
- Troubleshooting and problem solving ability
- Good writing and oral communication ability
- Scripting (eg, batch, VB, bash, Perl, etc.) ability

ADDED ADVANTAGE

- Experience with Intel network adapters
- Experience in FCoE devices, such as Cisco, Brocade, Juniper, and/or Qlogic/Emulex/Brocade CNA
- Experience in FC Switches, such as Cisco and Brocade
- Experience in network Switches, such as Cisco, HP, Dell, Extreme
- Experience in storage arrays, such as EMC Clariion/Symmetrix, IBM, Netapp, HP, HDS, etc.
- Experience in protocol analyzer, such as Wireshark, xGig
- Knowledge in network protocols, such as Ethernet, TCP/IP
- Knowledge in storage protocols, such as iSCSI, FCoE, FC, SCSI

This contract position is expected to be 7 months in duration.
