Network Specialist (S26)

Network Specialist required for esteemed Government department.

The Network Specialist is responsible for undertaking the completion of a number of legislative functions. This includes undertaking the testing of various devices and the subsequent issue of certificates confirming both the technical and operating functionality of the programs. The Network Specialist is also required to perform first line maintenance at sites for the various system components as well as carrying out the relevant administrative tasks required to support the programs.

Requirements:

Experience in undertaking data collection from field equipment.
Experience in calibration and/or testing of electronic equipment.
Experience in the use of and management of electronic and paper based records systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of Windows operating systems and use of MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Access.
Proven problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, identify and report on the nature of computer problems.
Experience with computer hardware and software relating to Local and Wide Area Networking.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide evidence that may be used to support court and prosecution proceedings.
Experience in working independently with minimum supervision to achieve quality results.
