Network Service Delivery Specialist

My client is seeking a Level 2/3 Network Administrator to provide help desk support to network users, application developers and management in the use, operation and maintenance of organization wide networks. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Key Accountabilities:

- Management and implementation of a large local area network, including bridges, Switches, Routers, wireless access points, wireless controllers and cabling.
- Undertaking all facets of communications support, including local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) in collaboration with local and remote users.
- Support and installation of Cisco Routers.
- Management of Firewalls, Proxy Servers, load balancers and other network appliances.
- Production of written and verbal reports.
- Contributing to the overall development and objectives of the broader Network Operations team.
- Other duties as directed.

Required technical skills:

- Demonstrated experience in the support & implementation of a large operational network, including remote users.
- Demonstrated experience and willingness to work in a highly integrated team structure.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP.
- Extensive demonstrated experience in local area and wide area networking.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing a large LAN, including bridges, Switches, Routers, wireless access points, wireless controllers and cabling.
- Demonstrated experience in installation and support of Cisco Routers.
- Demonstrated practical experience with use of network management systems using SNMP.
- Demonstrated experience with managing Firewalls, caching Proxy Servers and load balancers.
- Experience with diagnosing HTTP related problems.
