NETWORK SECURITY TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MELBOURNE, FLORIDA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for Tier 1 Security SER activities
- Responsible for monitoring security events to identify anomalies within the network
- Use skills and external resources to validate those events as valid or false positive
- Communicate with teammates about potential incidents and trends
- Apply baseline security configurations to network equipment
- Troubleshoot VPN sessions/issues
- Handle phone calls from customer

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School diploma with eight (8+) years experience
- Associate Degree with four (4+) years experience
- Understand system logs and be familiar with log analysis
- Strong investigative drive
- Self-motivated individuals
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong listening skills
