Network Operations Security Engineer

* Currently recruiting a number of Security Engineers who will be required to perform a number of activities in The Netherlands, The Hague within an Network, Security Operations Centre, providing 1st line Support on a 24 x 7 operational services.

* The shifts will be 7 days on and 7 days off (to support anyone from UK who wishes to work in the Netherlands and return to UK on week off).

* The ideal candidate would have any experience or knowledge of Juniper security devices to a level comparable with JNCIS-SEC/SA level. Ideally experience of Checkpoint security equipment to a level of security administrator would be a distinct advantage as you will be responsible for ensuring the clients security perimeters which consist of firewalls and VPN terminators from Checkpoint and Juniper/Netscreen run smoothly.

* A major area within the organisation is the support and incident management of a number of key Security Operational Services which will all be managed within DP Connect managed service.

* Be required to monitor the health of the client's different malware detection consoles and endpoints. Provide basic troubleshooting of malware server consoles including restarting, basic troubleshooting of client endpoints including executing; follow a standard process for re-establishing communication with the server and provide basic knowledge of the applications used such as Splunk, Trend Micro, Symantec, Sophos, Microsoft ForeFront.

* Provide 1st line support and main point of contract for client DDOS Attacks. Handle and escalate alerts or requests as per a defined procedure.

* Knowledge of Juniper security devices to a level comparable with JNCIS-SEC/SA level and knowledge of Checkpoint security equipment to a level of security administrator coupled with knowledge of BGP protocol would be an advantage.

* Manage group memberships,flag software (de)installation on user's workstations within Active Directory operational tasks and UNIX LDAP to a predefined change management process.

* Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Unix LDAP would be an advantage.

* Support the client's remote maintenance infrastructure. Troubleshoot and remedy any issues.
