- Responsible for design and implementation of Network Security solutions.
- Required to write, review or approve:
o Strategy and Policy Documents
o Statement of Requirements
o Impact Assessments
o Target Architectures
o High Level Design
o Detailed Design
o Implementation plan, and
o Transition To Operations documents
- Act as technical authority and subject matter expert on a range of technology/security solutions
- Analyse and appropriately feedback on impacts to the network infrastructure of Service Demand Forecasts (and interim product launches/ad hoc traffic events)
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED IN SECURITY (CCSP/CCIE SECURITY/PIX/ASA - DEVICE UNDERSTANDING/NETWORK SECURITY KNOWLEDGE/ETC).
Also need a subset of engineers with skills and certifications like (CCNP/CCIE RS/CCIE SP/other networking skills) + a vast array of experience working in enterprise environment,
IP Core environment and IP Security environment.
