Network Security Engineer/SIEM/SOC/Infrastructure

NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER, SIEM, SOC, INFRASTRUCTURE (BANKING IN AMSTERDAM)

My client is one of the top international banks in Europe and they are currently on the lookout for a technical network security engineer to join their agile team. As part of the team your main responsibilities will be to provide high end security solutions to ensure the safety of the banks infrastructure.

You will join a brand new, international scrum team working in a cutting edge, highly technical environment.

As a specialist within Network and Security, we would expect you to be knowledgeable and well versed in the following:

- Network and Security (also certifications of some sort)
- Working in data centres, private and public clouds
- Security Cases
- Network segmentation
- Working and thinking on bachelor's degree level
- At least 5 years of work experience in design of network security and segmentation
- Demonstrable experience as an infrastructure architect
- Demonstrable experience with Web Application Firewalls
- Demonstrable experience with SIEM
- Knowledge and experience with SOC work processes
- Preferably experience with Agile
- Getting-things-done mentality
- Direct and open communication is the standard within the team. Receive feedback, but also appeal to improvements.
- Proactive attitude
- Creative, thinking in solution

This role is for a technical thinker who can work in demanding environments, while simultaneously working with other departments to come to safe solutions within the infrastructure of the bank. As a specialist in your field you will want to extend your skills and specialism in order to improve and be the best you can be.
