Network Security Engineer - Emergency Network - Norway

Essentially this is a Network Security Engineer - a candidate who has good knowledge of network management and protocols. The role itself will manage the support of Information Systems and also administer system security for the project for example setting up remote users in order to access the Servers (based in Oslo).

We are looking at the following key points in your CV:

- Working within a secure environment - eg government or (eg local government in the UK) or similar telecoms environment.

Example responsibilities:

- Managing and maintaining a multiple vendor network security solution, including several Integralis bespoke technologies, as well as Check Point, PIX, JuniperSA, Bluecoat, IBM ISS, Netscreen, Sourcefire I5 and Infoblox.
- Working within a secure change request and approval process.
- Proactively investigating and identifying areas of improvement for the new solution.
- Reviewing change requests and assessing the resource requirements and technical feasibility.
- Attending meeting on current and future plans for the project.
- Training staff on various technologies.
- Creating reports and making recommendation for both the customer and management.
