Network Security Engineer - Contract - £500 - £600 - Milton Keynes - 6

My client are a Global well-known blue chip company and are looking for a Network Security Engineer for a 6 month contract in a hands-on capacity.

The ideal Network Security Engineer will have experience with both Design and Implementation and will have the following skills/experience: Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for setting up, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining security devices in our customer's network environments. Duties include providing daily, pro-active systems management of security devices, performing routine audits/reports of security platform, policies and procedures; performing routine penetration tests; system documentation. Performing daily reviews of all security logs. Other duties include assisting in the planning of network device security upgrades/modifications; implementing of security devices upgrades/modifications; Firewall policy modification; recommending and enforcing policy; developing internal procedures and documentation; VPN and remote access provisioning; Firewall troubleshooting.
