The process for reviewing and approving changes to Firewall rules should be amended to require all changes to be reviewed and authorized by a Security Manager before they are implemented
Firewall rules must be updated to restrict access between the user and management networks
Review vulnerability management tool Qualys reporting to identify pending and most critical vulnerabilities in all Tiers: security patches, systems configuration, outdated software's, PCI-DSS compliancy,
Prioritization for the deployment of patches: Operating Systems, DBMS, Third party applications, according to the level of severity
Security Certification is a must: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
In depth knowledge of vulnerability management, patch management, security event management, fire id management, policy compliance
Thorough understanding of log analysis, policy compliance, intrusion detection and prevention network traffic tools
Strong Analytical skills
Diplomacy and pragmatism: ability to transform governance into technical solutions
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Firewall management tool Algosec
Vulnerability management tool Qualys
Operating systems: Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMWARE
DBMS and Operating Systems security settings as well as O.S. hardening
Fundamentals of cryptography, encryption technologies and authentication schemes (3DES, AES, hashing, PGP, Win EFS, PKI, Smartcard, SSL certificates, LDAP, AD, TACACS ) and the process of key management
Proxy and content filtering systems, antivirus and antispyware (Bluecoat Proxy-cache, SmartFilter, IronPort, Finjan, Sophos, Symantec )
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluent in English as this is the communication language in the region and Group
Active knowledge of French and/or Dutch
