Network Security Engineer

I am urgently looking for a Network Security Engineers for our customer in Diegem. The customer is a multibillion company in the utilities sector with office all over the world

Today in order to extend our onsite presence and support we require additional engineers.

REQUESTED SERVICE:

Provide adequate Assistance to the local team to migrate the remainder sites to the new corporate standards.

I am looking for a senior/higher experienced technical lead

By preference CCIE switching & routing, CCDP, CCSE one of which on security (CCSP), one of which on WAN specific technologies

Startup: 1st of October 2012

Duration: 7 months + option extension

Technical skills, Experience and Educational background:

Successfully completed Information Technology based education, equivalent studies or equivalent by experience

At least 2 to 3 years relevant practical experience in information systems functions, with significant exposure to network technologies & security mainly CISCO based infrastructure

Expert level in network troubleshooting (capture and analyze network traffic, understand various network and application level protocols)

Technical configuration, implementation and problem analysis skills for, Cisco PIX/ASA Firewalls, WAN implementations and protocols (IP, BGP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF), Routers (Cisco), Cisco Switching LAN infrastructure, communication topologies (Ethernet/Fast-Ethernet, Frame Relay, IP/MPLS, ISDN, Internet VPN)

Knowledge of Blue coat is a nice to have

Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, hardware & HW management technologies, Scripting, backup strategies and imaging.

Languages: Good to very good English, nice to have Dutch or French
