Network Security Consultant - Mcafee Products

Seeking a Network Security Consultant with a specialization in McAfee configuration to work for a Federal Government department for an initial 3 month contract, to start as soon as possible.

SKILLS:- - Deployment and configuration of McAfee Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPSs)
- Monitor and respond to IPS incidents
- Internet systems incident response
- Securing and maintaining Internet facing systems

DUTIES:- - In accordance with Change Management procedures, the position is required to undertake necessary improvements to current configuration.
- Improve upon and enhance the rule set of the McAfee IPS to ensure that the protection provided to this federal government agency's systems is of the highest level.
- Maintain current IPS fleet including any configuration and maintenance tasks and/or necessary improvements to current configuration.
