JOB TITLE: NETWORK SECURITY CONSULTANT
JOB LOCATION: DEN HAAG - NETHERLANDS
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

JOB DESCRIPTION:
CLOUD MIGRATION PROJECT

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review Client security policies, standards and guidelines and identify applicable requirements for applications migrating to private cloud
Assist application owners/project managers in completing application data classification and Business Impact Assessments
Assess non-compliances to client Security policies and liaise with CISO office to obtain security exceptions or determine appropriate risk response measures
Review existing application designs, network topologies and security zoning and advise on target security design for application migration in compliance to client security policies
Review and update project documentation including as-is description, HLD, and migration runbooks with relevant KPN security policy requirements and standards
Prepare, review and update end-to-end application connectivity Matrix with detailed network configuration parameters related to Firewall policies, load-balancers, reverse-proxies, VPN
Review and update target network chain/topology designs specific for individual application connectivity requirements

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

- 10 years' experience in information security consulting and operations focusing on security assessments and reviews, IT infrastructure security and network security designs
- Strong technical understanding of data center network and systems security technologies including:
- L2/L3 network segmentation and ACLs
- Firewalls/VPN
- Proxy Servers
- Load balancing
- OS security hardening
- Database security
- High availability and Disaster recovery
- Good knowledge of security controls frameworks like ISO 27002,NIST and their application to data center/cloud migration projects
- Ability to take independent decisions with proper impact analysis as per program needs
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to engage with multiple program stakeholders including CISO, IT operations, Project Management and Application Management

CERTIFICATIONS:
CEH, ISO 27001 or CISSP
CCNA, CCSA or CCSP
