Network Security Architect

SENOVO IT is urgently looking for Network Security Architect to join a long term contract, 12 months renewable in the Netherlands, detailed job spec can be found below:

Responsible for network infrastructure solution architecture and design. Transform target architecture into vendor-specific solution architecture and detailed design templates ready to be implemented by internal or external resources. Vendor products, roadmap, and the industry best-practices will be used to develop, document, and communicate solutions to internal and external stakeholders spanning multiple verticals, business/functions or multiple external partners and vendors.

Develop the solution architecture and design template based on anticipated future trends. Participate/lead in design enhancement to address the risk and control identified by the audit. Identify design or service gap and develop/modify the solution architecture to mitigate risk and controls. Provide guidance and L3/4 support to the Network Implementation and OPS teams to resolve complex operational issues or MI where necessary. Provide guidance as SME to Implementation team. Participate in major initiatives and solution architecture work. Leading networks projects includes Low Level Design (LLD), Network Implementation Plan (NIP) and Network Ready for Use (NRFU) documentation and execution. Interface with customer and performs analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems. Provide Professional Technical Proposal based on Best Practices. Provide Networks Services consultancy and present Proof of Concept.

Responsible for troubleshooting, installing, implementing, and administering network systems and providing tier II and tier III support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Solution, Designing, Monitoring, Integration, Support/Maintenance and Architecture. Understand Customer business deployment needs and design solutions building Enterprise Networks (LAN/WLAN/WAN/Datacenter). Designs and implements network systems. Provides support for network connectivity or related network issues for the user community. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves network problems. Plans and monitors the installation of network systems. Analyzes network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors. Recommends network design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and performance. Researches, analyzes, and recommends the implementation of software or hardware changes to rectify any network deficiencies or to enhance network performance. Analyzes facilities bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies. Ensures planned testing activities are performed and technical criteria are met. Assesses network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the business. Provides network planning recommendations to senior management. Evaluates services provided by vendors and recommends changes. Leading Network reviews and audits required for regulatory and policy compliance.

Should be open to work in a global distributed environment with Cross-cultural sensitivity. The person in this role is expected to respond to high impact issues on a 24x7 basis, participating in a rotating on-call schedule with other team members.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Thorough knowledge on advanced TCP/IP concepts, switching, routing protocols Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols. Should have expertise in Designing, Configuring, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing in one or more of the technologies of Cisco Nexus, catalyst series datacenter class Switches etc.

- Expertise in Cisco Nexus technologies like vPC, VDC etc
- Understandings of DCI (Data Center Interconnect)
- Understanding of MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, Multicast, DWDM, SONET, Metro Ethernet, LAN/WAN network design, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Ability to design a Large Scale Enterprise Network using Cisco recommended best practices
- Ability to facilitate the technical designs and architecture discussion with clients, excellent communications and writing skills required
